I think this is one incredible true story. I enjoyed it so much more than I thought I would. Before watching this I had no idea about Tourette’s syndrome but after watching this I felt I understood it a lot more. The one thing I was surprised about watching this is just how funny it is. I found myself laughing out loud quite a few times. Fantastic cast list with the likes of Maxine Peake, Shirley Henderson and Peter Mullan. I have not come across Robert Aramayo before but I thought he was amazing. Fantastically directed by Kirk Jones. After watching it I felt really moved by it. This film to me is what you call a great British film. This film is about acceptance, empathy, kindness, resilience, and the importance of community support. At the Bafta Awards in 2026 this won for Best Leading Actor (Robert Aramayo) and for Best Casting.
