Year: 2024
Genre: Drama
Conclusion: 3/5.
A very low key Irish drama. I found this to be a very moving and engaging film. I love Cillian Murphy and the film is all about his expression and his eyes. I believed in his character and I never once thought it was Cillian Murphy the actor. There isn’t really much dialogue involved. This did remind me of the film Philamena (2013). In Small Things Like These some of the themes that are present are kindness and human decency, moral courage and most importantly redemption.
