PENGUIN BLOOM

Review: In 2013, a family leave their home for a holiday in Thailand. The mum has a accident and breaks her vertebrae in two places. A year later, the children find an injured magpie and decide to take it home and nurse it.
Director: Glendyn Ivin
Actors: Naomi Watts, Griffin Murray-Johnston, Andrew Lincoln, Felix Cameron and Jacki Weaver
Year: 2020
Genre: Drama
Conclusion: 2/5
Based on a true story. I personally didn’t enjoy this film and I don’t understand the purpose of why this film was made. I didn’t feel sorry for any of the characters or care about them. The best bit about this film was the magpie, although there were 10 different magpies used throughout the film!
