Radioactive

RADIOACTIVE

Review: An incredible, true-story about the life and work of Marie Curie, and her relationship with her husband Pierre.
Director: Marjane Satrapi
Actors: Rosamund Pike, Yvette Feuer, Mirjam Novak, Sam Riley, Simon Russell Beale, Sian Brooke, Faye Bradbrook, Drew Jacoby, Aneurin Barnard, Harriet Turnbull, Georgina Rich, Elise Alexandre and Katherine Parkinson
Year: 2019
Genre: Biography, Drama and Romance
Conclusion: 3/5
This film is based on the graphic novel ”Radioactive: Marie & Pierre Curie: A Tale of Love and Fallout” written by Lauren Redniss. It is always a pleasure to see Rosamund Pike in a film. All her roles she plays are always varied. I thought she did a brilliant job especially with so little to work with. I enjoyed Sam Riley’s performance and also Simon Russell Beale’s. This is a competent and informative biopic.
