A prequel to all the Transformers film’s. With a budget of $102-128 million, this is the least expensive Transformers movie to date but yet I have to say the best of all the Transformers films. I have not been a huge fan of the Transformers films in the past but found myself really enjoying this particular one. Directed by Travis Knight who also worked on Kubo and the Two Strings (2016) which was one of my favourite films of 2016. Great to see a young actress like Hailee Steinfeld take the lead. Thought she did a brilliant job as it can’t have been easy for her. I really enjoyed the musical sound track with it being all 80’s music. The funny thing is that during the film I actually felt some affection for the bumblebee.
