I have to say that I never watched the series Absolutely Fabulous when it was broadcast on the TV. Whether or not, if I had watched it on TV, it would have made a difference I don’t know. I have to say how disappointed I was with this film. I was very surprised that all the celebrities like Graham Norton and Lulu agreed to cameos in this film. They were an embarrassment and not at all funny. Apparently Joanna Lumley said that Benedict Cumberbatch was approached to appear in this film but declined. I think he made the right choice! None of the plot or direction seemed to work. I sat there all the way through this film and didn’t laugh once.
