Review: A Roman tribune is sent on a mission to find Jesus’ body following its disappearance after the crucifixion.
Director: Kevin Reynolds
Actors: Joseph Fiennes, Tom Felton and Peter Firth
Year: 2016
Genre: Action, Adventure and Drama
Conclusion: 3/5
A fantastic performance from Joseph Fiennes but he has to carry the film all by himself. The sets were really well done and very realistic. I would have to say that Tom Felton was the only weak link and the only downfall in this film. This is the sort of film that if you were a teacher you could show your class pupils at Eastertime. It is too long for what it needs to be. In the Harry Potter films Tom Felton worked with Joseph Fiennes’ brother Ralph. The main themes in this are redemption, faith and the belief that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
