Review: A documentary about the Beatles’ touring years from 1963 to 1966.
Director: Ron Howard
Stars: Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, John Lennon and George Harrison
Year: 2016
Genre: Music
Conclusion: 4/5
An impossible film at the time to find at as it was only showing for one night only at most cinemas which I think was a shame. A really interesting film as I had no idea about this story at all. It was all new to me but then it is not surprising as it was before my time. One thing that is quite incredible is that there is well over 2 hours of non stop footage of the Beatles. It was all very well put together and edited. There are interviews in this of the likes of Whoppi Goldberg and also Elvis Costello. Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and Yoko Ono attended the premier in London, along with Noel and Liam Gallagher.
