Director: Cyrus Nowrasteh

Year: 2016
Genre: Drama
Conclusion: 2/5
I found this tedious and far too long for what it needed to be. If this was just 90 minutes long then that would be a lot better. Maybe it would have worked better as a 4 or 2 part little mini t.v. series. I don’t know how Sean Bean subjected himself to play the part he did. The only bit I could say was good was the music and the temple scene. I couldn’t believe how cringe worthy the whole script was. I was actually laughing out loud at some scenes in the film. This film is also inaccurate on so many levels. One film critic wrote about this film “It’ll be a miracle if you stay awake”. In which case I don’t think my mum even made it past half an hour and she was off like a lightbulb!! Verges closely on becoming a spoof.
