Review: Beecham House is a home for retired musicians. All the residents are getting ready for the annual concert to celebrate Verdi’s birthday. A new resident arrives and disrupts the concert. We soon learn that the new resident was once a wife to one of the residents. Can they put their differences to one side before the concert?

This is the first film that Dustin Hoffman has directed. Thought he did a really good job. Great cast list and excellent performances. Very funny in places. Also very moving. Many of the cast are retired musicians.
