A very good classic film. A film that everyone should watch. There is one particular scene that you will never be able to forget. When this film came out people were really frightened. This has you on the edge of your seat all the way through. The copywriter to this film came up with the tagline “In space, no one can hear you scream”. The original title to this film was “Star Beast”. Harrison Ford was offered the role of Captain Dallas but turned it down. At the Academy Awards in 1980 this only won one Oscar and that was for Best Effects, Visual Effects. At the Bafta Awards the same year it won two awards and they were for Best Production Design and Best Sound Track. This is on Barry Norman’s list of 100 Greatest Films of all time that he produced at the start of 2012. This is a ground breaking film and a cult classic.
