Director: Sam Mendes
Actors: Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem and Judi Dench
Year: 2012
Genre: Action, Adventure and Crime
Conclusion: 5/5
There is only one word for this film and that is ‘Amazing’. This Bond actually had a story line which I loved unlike the other two Bonds with Daniel Craig. The filming was brilliant. I like the fact that it was directed by a British director and also how it was filmed in London which is vary rare. It is the best performance I have seen with Javier Bardem. He made up his own expressions and it was his own idea to dye his hair blond. The script was also excellent. This is Judi Dench’s seventh Bond film. The first Bond movie she was in was GoldenEye with Pierce Brosnan which was in 1995. A film that will make you laugh out loud at times and a film that will make you cry. You will be shaking by the end of the movie. I also thought that the music was fantastic all the way through. Daniel Craig has already signed up to do two more Bond movies which he is already working on. The next one will be out in 2015. This film is listed in Barry Norman’s top 50 Greatest British Films that was published in the Radio Times. At the Golden Globe Awards in 2013 this won Best Original Song – Motion Picture. At the Bafta Awards the same year it won 2 Awards. They were for Original Film Music and Outstanding British Film. At the Oscars also 2013 Adele Adkins and Paul Epworth won an Academy Award for Best Music – Original Song and it also won for the Best Sound Editing.
