Year: 2012
Genre: Drama and Romance
Conclusion: 5/5
Brilliant film!! All the cast acted really well and it was also really well directed. Best work I have seen from Joe Wright. Matthew Macfadyen was in it and felt that he carried the whole film. All of the costumes were amazing. James McAvoy, Saoirse Ronan, Cate Blanchett, Andrea Riseborough and Benedict Cumberbatch were offered parts for this film but turned them down. This film won a Bafta and a Academy Award in 2013 for Best Costume Design.
