Year: 1988
Genre: Comedy and Fantasy
Conclusion: 4/5
I thought this was great casting. I enjoyed the chemistry between Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis. This is Michael Keaton’s favourite film of his own. Even though he plays the title character he only actually appears for 17.5 minutes of the film. This is the complete opposite with Alec Baldwin who dislikes the film and was very unhappy with his performance. The special effects are good in this. I found this to be a very enjoyable and entertaining film. According to the BBFC one or more of the releases in this collection was cut. At the Academy Awards in 1989 this won one Oscar for Best Makeup.
