Moonage Daydream

MOONAGE DAYDREAM

Review: A documentary exploring David Bowie’s creative and musical journey.
Director: Brett Morgen
Actors: David Bowie, Trevor Bolder, Ken Fordham, Mike Garson, Mick Ronson, Jeff Beck and Greg Errico
Year: 2022
Genre: Documentary and Music
Conclusion: 3/5
I personally don’t understand this film in the way that I don’t know what the message is or what the point of this film is. Even though I have used the word documentary it is more of a kaleidoscopic collage film. Some of the footage is authorized by the Bowie estate so is actually genuine footage. I know I say this a lot but I did find the length of the film far too long standing in at 2hours 15 mins. This film has had great reviews from film critics but for me it just didn’t work.
