I have to say that I didn’t enjoy this as much as I thought I would. This is based on a novel by Jojo Moyes who also wrote Me Before You which was also turned into a film. The strongest performance I felt was from Shailene Woodley. I also felt that Felicity Jones wasn’t quite herself as there was no spark when she came onto the screen. I was looking forward to seeing Christian Brassington but he was only in it for literally a second. You have to be very quick in order to spot him. How he could have a main credit at the beginning of the film I really do not know. I felt it was lacking in something but can’t quite put my finger on what it is. I just didn’t find any of it convincing which I know is a shame.
