Conclusion: 4/5
I have to say that I really enjoyed this film. I found it to be a lovely little charming and gentle film. I thought that Woody Norman was brilliant. This is an unusual role for Joaquin Phoenix. The film being in black and white never bothered me and once the film started, I never once gave it a thought. I have to say that this is one of my favourite films of this last year. There were times where I was emotionally moved.
