BOOK OF LOVE

Review: Henry an English novelist is forced to go on a book tour in Mexico. While in Mexico he has to travel round with a translator Maria only to discover that she rewritten his dull book into a steamy romance.
Director: Analeine Cal y Mayor
Actors: Sam Claflin, Veronica Echegui, Fernando Becerril, Horacio Garcia Rojas, Lucy Punch, Melissa Pino, Giovani Florido, Sofia Sisniega, Galya Vidal, Laura de Ita, Alejandro Bracho, Antonia Clarke and Remmie Milner
Year: 2022
Genre: Comedy and Romance
Conclusion: 1/5
I have to say that I really didn’t enjoy this and just found it too stupid. It is like they came up with an idea but at the end of the day they didn’t know how to progress with it. I felt that Sam Claflin was trying his hardest but I felt he himself wasn’t enjoying being in the film. There was no spark between the two main actors. The script needed more work done to it and so did the directing. I found it too baggy and overlong.
