Conclusion: 4/5
This is such a lovely film. I thought it was great to see Gemma Arterton back on the screen. I thought that the performances from each of the actors were incredible but not over the top. Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Penelope Wilton previously appeared together in Belle (2013). Half way into the film there is a twist but I have to say that I did not see it coming and I found it a complete surprise. I thought the script was really well written. I enjoyed the cinematography. It is about a journey of womanhood, love and friendship. Overall, I really enjoyed this film and I feel like we could do with more films like this. I found myself being really moved by the whole film.
