Conclusion: 2/5
I am afraid to say but I really didn’t enjoy this film. My main problem with this film was that I felt that none of the characters were really developed enough for me. I felt you couldn’t get to know any of them or even really care about them. There was no build up in the story before the island was being built. I had no idea how Giorgio Rosa got his money to build the island. The only time I felt like the screen lit up was when Matilda De Angelis was on the screen. I thought that the script was badly written and I just felt that the characters hadn’t even been directed. I almost felt that the director had this idea of a film but in the end didn’t know how to develop it. I felt that the film itself was also far too long for what it needed to be. There could have been 15-20 minutes that could have been taken out and edited.
