Review: Geologist Wentao Li promised he would never return to Tianhuo Island once he witnessed a volcano erupting and killing his wife. His daughter continues to stay on the Island and does research work. Twenty years on the island has been turned into a theme park and Wentao Li returns to save his daughter and tourists as the volcano stars to erupt again.

I don’t know how Jason Isaacs can humiliate himself by starring in this film. I have every respect for him and think he is such a talented actor. The special effects are not even that impressive. I didn’t even care about any of the characters. I found the whole film to be really predictable. I have no idea what accent Jason Isaacs was trying to pull off!!!
