Year: 2019
Genre: Drama, Mystery and Thriller
Conclusion: 1/5
After Matthew McConaughey’s Academy Award winning success, he is back doing his usual not so very good work. It is a silly film that should not have even got made in the first place. It is as if both Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway phoned their performances in. Also, I got the feeling that they took on these parts as they both wanted a holiday in Mauritius where the film was filmed. Apparently, Uma Thurman was originally cast but dropped out and was replaced by Diane Lane. Personally, I think she made the right decision to drop out. Both Anne Hathaway and Matthew McConaughey appeared in Interstellar (2014).
