Good popcorn entertainment! I actually haven’t read any of the Jack Reacher novels. I enjoyed both Tom Cruise an Cobie Smulders performances. Cobie Smulders performed all of her own stunts and also spent eight weeks training in various martial arts to prepare for her role. It is very well directed with two very strong performances. It is a film though that we have seen done many times before. There is no new territory, or anything ground-breaking. Even though this had terrible reviews from film critics, I really enjoyed this film.
