Date Night

DATE NIGHT

Review: In New York City, Phil and Claire try to keep their relationship alive but in doing this they accidentally become entangled in a conspiracy between corrupt cops, a mob boss and a crazy cab driver.
Director: Shawn Levy
Actors: Steve Carell, Tina Fey, Mark Wahlberg, Taraji P. Henson, Jimmi Simpson, Common, William Fichtner, Leighton Meester, J.B. Smoove, Kristen Wiig, Mark Ruffalo, James Franco, Mila Kunis, Bill Burr and Jonathan Morgan Heit
Year: 2010
Genre: Action, Comedy, Crime and Romance
Conclusion: 3/5
Steve Carell who is such a clever talented actor ends up in two awful films in the same year. One being this and the other is Dinner for Schmucks (2010). Definitely not Steve Carell’s best year for films. On the plus side Steve Carell and Tina Fey do work together very well. Both James Franco and Mark Wahlberg have cameos. Watch right to the end of this film as there is an additional outtake after the credits. Steve Carell and Mark Ruffalo both later then appeared in Foxcatcher (2014). Also Mark Whalberg and Mila Kunis both appeared in Ted (2012).
