Conclusion: 3/5
I enjoyed this much more than I thought I would which did surprise me. Paul Bettany and his real-life wife Jennifer Connelly re-team eight years since A Beautiful Mind (2001). A fantastic performance as always by Paul Bettany. I also enjoyed Jennifer Connelly’s part and thought she didn’t overplay her acting. Great to see Toby Jones although only a walk on part. Jon Amiel has done a good job directing the film as it can’t have been an easy film to direct. It is more about ideas and also about the challenges facing a marriage. I enjoyed the script and thought it was well written.
