Conclusion: 5/5
This is one of the best documentaries I have ever watched. I could listen to McKellen’s voice all day and not get bored or tired of it. It is great to see Milo Parker play the part of the young Ian McKellen. Milo Parker starred alongside Ian McKellen in the film Mr.Holmes (2015). I was very impressed with Scott Chambers and would love to see much more of him. A few years ago Ian McKellen thought of writing his memoir and tried but due to the fact that he could no longer remember dates, information, had nobody to ask anymore he gave up. This was Joe Stephenson’s idea to do this film and he approached Ian McKellen about the idea. I think it is very well edited and covers a whole range of information that has happened or that Ian McKellen has done in his life. This starts from his early childhood to the present day. This was a real pleasure to watch.
