This is the third and final Wolverine film and what a way to finish off the Logan trilogy! This is a film that has strong bloody violence in which include shootings and also includes very strong language, which I was not expecting so much of. Amazing performance from Hugh Jackman who holds the whole film together. Throughout all of the portrayals of Logan, Hugh Jackman stated he learned his American accent from copying Johnny Depp. He has stated that this is the hardest Wolverine movie in which he had ever trained. Sir Patrick Stewart lost 21 pounds in order to portray Charles Xavier as elderly and sick. Sir Ian McKellen, who plays Magneto, had expressed an interest in appearing in this film. In the UK, this is the first wide release showing of this film was at the unusual time of 10:23 p.m., rather than the usual midnight showing for a major release. This is referencing to the film which includes the characters of X-23. The main themes that occur are death and disease.
