Conclusion: 4/5
The original title for this film is Zootopia and it is known in America by that title. The script is very well written and the jokes are very funny. All of the characters are really bright and colourful. The city-scape worked really well and the visual effects/animation team must have sat down and discussed how best to design the film. This is a film that the whole family can sit down and enjoy watching. Throughout this film there are no reptiles, fish, birds or amphibians. Just some of the themes that feature are how to be tolerant with each other, about love, and also about understanding each other. It is also about combating stereotypes and discrimination and has actually been praised for the job it has done with the subject matter. This is the second film by Walt Disney Animation Studios to be grossed over 1 billion, the first one being Frozen (2013). Apparently, not surprisingly there is going to be a Zootropolis 2 released Spring/Summer 2018. At the Academy Awards in 2017 this won 1 Oscar and that was for Best Animated Feature Film of the Year. At the Golden Globe Awards in 2017 this won Best Motion Picture – Animated.
