Salt and Fire

SALT AND FIRE

Review: A team of ecologists are kidnapped while visiting South America. They are near a volcano but when it stars showing signs of erupting, they must stick together to avoid disaster.
Director: Werner Herzog
Actors: Veronica Ferres, Michael Shannon, Gael Garcia Bernal and Volker Michalowski
Year: 2016
Genre: Drama and Thriller
Conclusion: 1/5
A deeply disappointing film from Werner Herzog. One of the worst films that he has made. None of the actors had any personality or any charisma. They weren’t interested in this film themselves. The director has a little cameo as one of the passengers on the plane near the beginning of the film. I don’t even know why it got made in the first place. Just such a boring film. I have nothing left to say about this.
