All Roads Lead to Rome

ALL ROADS LEAD TO ROME

Review: This film revolves around a woman named Maggie and her former Italian lover, Luca. They go on a scenic road trip across Italy to try and find Maggie’s daughter Summer who has run away and desperately wants to return to New York. On the other side we have Luca’s mother who is on a secret mission of love.
Director: Ella Lemhagen
Actors: Sarah Jessica Parker, Rosie Day, Raoul Bova and Claudia Cardinale
Year: 2015
Genre: Art House, Comedy, International and Romance
Conclusion: 2/5
I haven’t got anything against Sarah Jessica Parker but I find that none of her films that she has been cast in have inspired me. From the second it started to the minute it finished I found that none of the storyline or anything inspired me. I found it all too predictable. The one thing though that I did enjoy from this was the lovely scenery of Italy and also Rome. I was very shocked that Claudia Cardinale would allow herself to star in this film. It was so bad that I have been unable to find this film anywhere: for instance there isn’t even a summary or anything on the BBFC website and only about 6 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes which all slate this film.
