Conclusion: 4/5
When this film came out the film critics gave it really bad reviews. I really enjoyed this and thought it was much better than I expected it to be. I was presently surprised. Sophie Nelisse was great. It was refreshing having an actress that you didn’t know. Great cast and great acting. The music in this was very good. You can imagine this to be a stage show. I think it would work very well. One idea that crossed my mind was would it be better if it was all subtitled and were all speaking in German. Some of the scenes in this film have been cut. I am not sure what the reason is for this. Based on a book by Markus Zusak.
