Brief Encounter

BRIEF ENCOUNTER

Review: A man and woman meet on a railway station and fall in love. The only problem is that she is already married so nothing can happen.
Director: David Lean
Actors: Trevor Howard and Celia Johnson
Year: 1945
Genre: Romance and Drama
Conclusion: 5/5
I think it is a real shame that they don’t make movies like these any more. You can’t really beat the old black and white movies. It will definitely make you cry. This is one of Barry Norman’s Greatest British Films and also is in his top 100 favorite films of all time which was published in the Radio Times in 2012.  I have been to the station where it was filmed in near Lancaster and the coffee shop and everything is still there. A must see!!
