Year: 2011
Genre: Crime, Drama, Art House and International
Conclusion: 4/5
Filmed in Anatolia, Turkey. It takes a very long time to get going but you do have to stick with it and you will soon enjoy it for what it is. It is well over 2 hours so you do have to be patient with it. If you can get a copy of it I would recommend it. Again this is a film where you have to read subtitles. At the Cannes Film Festival in 2011 it won Best Film. One film critic wrote “The result is melancholy, mysterious and utterly mesmerising”.
