Director: Michel Hazanavicius
Actors: Jean Dujardin, Berenice Bejo and James Cromwell
Year: 2011
Genre: Comedy, Romance and Drama
Conclusion: 5/5
Excellent film!!! Loved every minute of it. It was much better than I thought it was going to be. Apparently people have been going to the cinema to see this film and demanded their money back. I think it is because people are not used to seeing silent films. It is amazing what you can pick up on when there are just actions and people not saying anything. I love the dog Uggie. Jean and Berenice rehearsed the dance scene everyday for 5 months. At the Baftas in 2012 it won 7 awards. They were Best Film, Best Director, Original Screenplay, Cinematography, Costume Design, Original Music and The Leading Actor. Even Uggie got an award at the Golden Globes. Also won 5 Oscars. They were Best Picture, Actor in a Leading Role, Costume Design, Best Directing and The Best Music (Original Score).
