Director: J.J. Abrams
Actors: Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Benedict Cumberbatch, Simon Pegg and Zoe Saldana
Year: 2013
Genre: Action and Sci-Fi
Conclusion: 4/5
Fantastic film. It is very long. There were a few scenes that I thought could have been edited out and were not really needed. I also thought that there was going to be much more action taking place on the land. Really good script. Great cast and thought that they were all right for each part that they played. I also liked the fact that if you haven’t watched the first Star Trek it doesn’t matter and you can still come on board. Steven Spielberg recommended Benedict Cumberbatch to the director. Great work by J.J. Abrams. It has just been announced that there will be another Star Trek movie coming out in 2016. Joe Cornish is tipped to direct it.
