I was completely amazed by this film. All the way through I felt like I was on the journey with all these people. It all seemed so true to life. Each of the stories of the scenarios I heard made me believe and engage with the character. I felt for each of the characters and what they were all going through. I think that Sandra Huller’s performance is just terrific. For her role she had to learn French. I was on the edge of my seat all the way through. It is a very tense film to sit through although very engaging. This is a very long film although I never felt once it was dragging. The main theme is the relationship between reality and fiction. At the Academy Awards in 2024 this won 1 Oscar for Best Original Screenplay. At the Bafta Awards in 2024 this won 1 award for Best Screenplay (Original). At the Golden Globe Awards in 2024 this won 2 awards for Best Screenplay, Motion Picture and Best Motion Picture, Non-English Language.
