Conclusion: 2/5
Directed by the Russo brothers who famously made Avengers: Infinity War (2018). I cannot believe that an all-star cast are subjecting themselves to star in this film. We have got the likes of Ryan Gosling and Ana de Armas (who was fantastic in No Time To Die, 2021). Apparently, Chris Evans was originally considered for the lead role, but he declined it to play the villain. It is reported that this is Netflix’s most expensive production in the region of 200 million dollars. The Gray Man is based on a novel by Mark Greening. Imagine what the film would have become if Brad Pitt was attached as the lead and James Gray was set to direct the project way back in 2011, but both dropped out. This is a film that as soon as you stop watching it, you’ll forget all about it.
