Year: 2020

Conclusion: 3/5
This is very reminiscent of the film The Bridge of Spies (2015). I do think that this is Benedict Cumberbatch’s best performance. I felt totally convinced by his character. This is his third film to do with British Intelligence. The other two are Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (2011) and also The Imitation Game (2014). Also, great to see Jessie Buckley who always gives a strong performance. Dominic Cooke also directed On Chesil Beach (2017).
