Year: 2018
Genre: Biography and Drama
Conclusion: 3/5
Based on a 2016 memoir by Garrard Conley. I was actually shocked at just how different Russell Crowe looked as he had put so much weight on. Although the subject matter was very heavy, I thought it was a really good film with strong performances. I do think that it is a very brave film to have been made. Just some of the themes that this concentrates on are acceptance, control, religion and sexuality.
