Wild Mountain Thyme

WILD MOUNTAIN THYME

Review: John Patrick Shanley created the classic Moonstruck. A patriarch of an Irish family considers leaving his farm to his American nephew rather than his own son. A pair of star-crossed lovers Rosemary Muldoon and Anthony Reilly get caught up in their family’s land dispute.
Director: John Patrick Shanley
Actors: Emily Blunt, Jamie Dornan, Jon Hamm, Christopher Walken, Dearbhla Molloy, Don Wycherley, Clare Barrett, Darragh O’Kane, Abigail Coburn, Lydia McGuinness and Jon Tenney
Year: 2020
Genre: Comedy, Drama and Romance
Conclusion: 2/5
John Patrick Shanley created the classic Moonstruck (1987). In Wild Mountain Thyme, both Emily Blunt and Jamie Dornan are fantastic. It is always great to see Christopher Walken in a film. I actually really missed him once he was off the screen. He looked as though he was really enjoying himself. Apparently, in Ireland the Irish press expressed shock and disappointment in the horrible Irish accents in this film prior to its release. This is really not a good film but I secretly loved it!
