Adapted from a novel by Larry Watson. I enjoyed all the performances in this. I have to say that I love Kevin Costner. I always feel like I am in a safe pair of hands when I am watching a film with him in. He is one of those actors where he doesn’t have to do anything but I could just watch him for hours. Lesley Manville gives a very good performance. The only thing though about her performance was that I couldn’t take her wig seriously! One thing I liked about this film was that I had no idea where the film was going next or what was going to happen.
