Out of Sight

OUT OF SIGHT

Review: Jack Foley is the most successful bank robber in the country. On the first day he gets out of jail he shares a moment of mutual attraction with Karen Sisco a U.S. Marshal. They risk everything to find out if there is more between them than just the law.
Director: Steven Soderbergh
Actors: George Clooney, Jennifer Lopez, Ving Rhames, Don Cheadle, Donna Frenzel, Catherine Keener, Dennis Farina, Keith Hudson, Steve Zahn, Albert Brooks, Luis Guzman and Paul Soileau
Year: 1998
Genre: Action, Adventure, Comedy, Crime, Drama and Romance
Conclusion: 3/5
A film that if you watched in the 21st Century would now seem very dated and old fashioned. Based on a novel by Elmore Leonard. Sandra Bullock almost got the part of Karen Sisco, the only problem was that Steven Soderbergh was against it. I think that Sandra Bullock almost would have been better than Jennifer Lopez and the chemistry would have worked better. George Clooney and Sandra Bullock then later appeared in the film Gravity (2013) together. Steven Soderbergh collaborated on the Ocean’s trilogy staring George Clooney and Don Cheadle.
