Conclusion: 5/5
This is a three hour film but the time goes so quickly that you don’t notice the length of it. This is split up into three sections. The first section is all about grief and coming to terms with it. The second section is all about how they can change the past and is there anything they can do to change it. The third section is where they are trying to tie the whole story-line up and bring it to a conclusion. With it having a conclusion this did remind me of Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003). Everyone has invested so much in the Avengers films just as everyone invested in Lord of the Rings (2001-2003). This is the twenty-second film to be released by Marvel Studios for the Marvel Cinematic Universe and also the fourth Marvel film directed by Anthony and Joe Russo. There isn’t one character in this that you can take a dislike to. I also thought that the music was very good. The one thing I did enjoy was the very funny script. It is a film that has tragedy in it. At several points in the film I did come over all emotional. I found it to be a very moving film even though it is also very amusing at times. A huge congratulations to all the actors, producers, directors and the whole crew of the film. Also not forgetting all the digital artists who have made this film possible, including everyone who worked on the special visual effects. The only cast member who read the entire film’s script was Robert Downey Jr. I do hope that this is not giving anything away but there is no clip or anything after all the credits. I have to say that I am not a huge superhero fan myself but I thoroughly enjoyed this and it has all the ingredients in that you will ever need or want from a superhero film. One of the best superhero films ever made. No other superhero film will beat this.
