Adapted from Naomi Alderman’s 2006 novel of the same name. This is a story about life, love, religion, betrayal and the universe. Considering the subject matter this film is done in a really sensitive and understanding way. It is a really powerful film. Everyone involved give really strong performances especially from the three talented leads Rachel Weisz, Rachel McAdams and Alessandro Nivola. Also very well directed by Sebastian Lelio.
