Review: A British drama about a woman in an unhappy relationship who takes refuge with a friend’s family on holiday in Tuscany, Italy.
Director: Joanna Hogg
Actors: Emma Hiddleston, Kathryn Worth, Harry Kershaw, Henry Lloyd-Hughes, Tom Hiddleston, Mary Roscoe and David Rintoul
Year: 2007
Genre: Drama
Conclusion: 4/5
Premiered at the London Film Festival in 2007. Fantastic film in which you believe in all the characters. Great to see a female director directing a film with such class. I very much hope to see her do more film work in the future. It is lovely to see the views and landscapes of Tuscany, Italy. This is Tom Hiddleston’s first film feature and probably his best performance so far. His sister Emma Hidddleston plays the part of Badge but do not play siblings in the film. Warning: this is by no means a fast paced film.
