Review: Ten years ago, tragedy struck the Russell family. Kaylie tries to vindicate her brother, who was convicted of murder for their parents. She does everything she can to prove that the death of her parents was committed by a supernatural phenomenon. When Tim is released from protected custody all he wants to do is to move on with his life but Kaylie is still haunted by what happened to their parents. It comes too late and realize that their nightmare is beginning again.
Director: Mike Flanagan
Actors: Brenton Thwaites, Karen Gillan and Katee Sackhoff
Year: 2013
Genre: Drama and Horror
Conclusion: 3/5
The two main characters in this were both very good. They weren’t at all annoying. Great to see such a great horror movie especially at this time where there haven’t been so many recently. There were times in this where I did think it lost the plot a bit and didn’t quite know what to do or where to go next. The script was very well written.
