So unusual to see a black and white film especially nowadays. Some very special scenes. The scenes were also very moving and emotional. Very well done. Fantastic performances.The director tried to get this movie made for almost 10 years. Bryan Cranston auditioned for the role of David. At the Cannes Film Festival in 2013 Bruce Dern won an Award for Best Actor. One film critic wrote ‘This may very well be one of the most powerful movies ever made about the misfortune of growing old and fragile’.
