This film shouldn’t work but it does in a very good way. It took a while for me to get into the film but once I got into it I really enjoyed it. The second half I enjoyed a lot more. There were some very witty jokes in it and some of them I thought that they could only just get away with. The sound track to this movie was brilliant. Chris Pratt did a fantastic job and so did all the other actors involved. Great work as well by the Visual Effects team. A lot of effort by everyone. The character Groot is a very original creation and will probably be as famous as Chewbacca. Brilliant voice over by Bradley Cooper. Loved the raccoon and wanted to put him in my pocket and take him home with me. If only he was real!! He was modeled on a raccoon living in the UK named “Oreo”. Based on the comic books that came out in the 70’s. Joel Edgerton, Eddie Redmayne, Jim Sturgess and others all auditioned for the role of Peter Quill. The next Guardians of the Galaxy film is already announced and will be out in 2017.
