Argo

ARGO
Argo
Review: A CIA agent launches a dangerous operation. The operation is to rescue six Americans in Tehran at the same time as the U.S. hostage crisis in Iran in 1980.
Director: Ben Affleck
Actors: Ben Affleck, Bryan Cranston and John Goodman
Year:  2012
Genre: Biography, Drama and History
Conclusion: 3/5
One thing that I didn’t like about this film was that a lot of it was actually made up and didn’t actually happen. A lot of the facts in the film weren’t actually true. I do admire Ben Affleck for directing this. There are some very moving scenes. It is also very tense at times. It is very interesting if you don’t know anything about the story. This won 3 Oscar Awards in 2013 and they were for Best Motion Picture of the Year, Best Writing, Adapted Screenplay and Best Achievement in Film Editing. The same year it won 2 Golden Globe Awards and they were for Best Motion Picture – Drama and Best Director – Motion Picture. At the Bafta Awards also the same year it won Best Film and Best Editing. Also at the Bafta Awards Ben Affleck got the David Lean Award for Direction.
