Excellent film!! Do not let your children see this film. One of the best horror films ever. You will sure to be freaked out by this film especially if and when you have a shower. You will never enjoy a shower in the same way again. Based on a book by Robert Bloch. Last Alfred Hitchcock’s feature film to be filmed in black and white. In April 2012 the hotel has just been torn down but the hotel sign is still there. This is on Barry Norman’s list of 100 Greatest Films of all time that he produced at the start of 2012 in the Radio Times. Janet Leigh won a Golden Globe Award as Best Supporting Actress in 1961.
